As a lead teacher, this position requires frequent interaction with children 3 months to 4 years of age through an affectionate and respectful manner. Participate actively in the teaching team through communication, collaboration and curriculum planning as well as providing a variety of developmentally appropriate materials and activities for children during teacher directed activities. I have demonstrated awareness of the entire group whether working with a small group or individuals and becoming familiar with ages and stages of development for children under my supervision, along with health and safety precautions. Responding to parents/ guardian concerns and comments with sensitivity, interest and respect through a professional manner. Continue professional growth by attending courses, asking for feedback, and reading professional literature.
Manage the business, computer and communications functions of the center. Organize and operate the centers office systems while representing the company and the center positively to the community. Update and maintain center files in an orderly manner in accordance with state and federal regulations and NELC guidelines. Prepare and distribute tuition invoices to clients. Maintains calendars and appointments and updates spreadsheets, databases, and meeting notes. Routine office tasks, data entry or word processing assignments. Greet all visitors and ensure that all security procedures are upheld. Monitor sign-in and sign-out procedures. Answer all calls in a courteous manner, route calls, take messages and provide information to customers. Maintain positive relationships with parents, children and co-workers. Ensure safety and supervision of children at all times by meeting the physical demands of the position.
