Launch Expeditionary Learning Charter School


Co-teach in an Integrated, Collaborative Team Teaching Humanities class. Write, review, and differentiate curriculum. Co-lead daily Crew, a program that consists of mentoring a small group of students’ emotional, character, and academic development; supervised students on a four day Outward Bound camping and climbing adventure week. Coordinate school-wide team building and academic events and organize all other key components of expeditionary learning. Reach out to parents and maintain healthy lines of communication with them. Conduct weekly guided reading class and provide innovate student support services for all learners. Facilitate grade level team meetings and turnkey professional development in a timely and effective manner. Co-led the planning of our inaugural Exhibition Night. Actively sought out and developed partnerships and expert visits, for our students, with the Center for Environmental Research and Conservation (CERC), McGraw- Hill, and the American Research Center in Egypt (New York City office).
