Social Enterprise: White Roof Project (WRP)

Black surfaces absorbs heat and white surfaces reflect heat back into the atmosphere and away from our city.Extreme weather events will increase in frequency and intensity in NYC. Our goal is to tackle climate change in a simple way: painting black-tar roofs using a white-solar reflective paint.

White Roofs
