I work with the Memphis Redbirds marketing department as a member of their RedHots promotional squad. The squad is responsible for executing on-field promotions during games and interacting with fans to create a welcoming environment.
During my short time here, I worked with the newly appointed Authority public information officer to conduct a communications audit of select comparable airports. I also produced press releases for airport events.
Here, I worked with a team of interns to research and help plan activities for the company's anniversary celebration. In addition to this research, I also assisted with the weekly employee update article and other tasks as needed.
As part of the First Tennessee intern program, I attended corporate career preparation workshops presented by the First Tennessee human resources department.
At our independent paper, I produced weekly articles covering campus events and developments as a staff reporter. I also shared information about community events and opportunities with the campus community.
At Christian Brothers University's Plough Library, I handled patron inquiries and services as a front desk assistant. I was also responsible for assisting in the maintenance of library resources and supplies.
