Assistant Marketing Manager

Becoming the third member of a small but mighty marketing team, I have become a jack of all trades. I've been able to seamlessly transition between a wide variety of tasks, requests and strategic thinking in an effort to achieve company KPIs in a fast growing startup.

Email Marketing
- Built weekly parent emails with relevant themes for each of UrbanSitter's geos; worked with community managers to feature sitters in their area who have upcoming availability
- Sent monthly emails to babysitters reminding to update their availability and announcing new features
- Custom emails: Pulled lists to send to special segments for a wide variety of topics including surveys, encourage parents to book, Premium parents/sitters, etc.

- Promoting events in all areas by publishing to our Events page and in the weekly emails

- Create and send requested assets to community managers including emails and flyers

Community Manager Liaison
- Provided community managers the tools and assets they need for events, partnerships and more including: gift certificates, discount codes, partner landing pages, banner/print ads, upgrading parents/sitters, adding credit to parents’ accounts, adding partner/CPR badges to sitter profiles

Employee Events Coordinator

As a member of the Corporate Communications organization, I work closely with the Employee Communications and Engagement team. In this position I act as event coordinator for several internal events, help foster employee engagement in the workplace and manage aspects of internal communications including:
- Collect content and create a weekly @LinkedIn newsletter to be emailed to employees about upcoming on-campus events and mentions of LinkedIn in the news
- Content contribution for All Hands bi-weekly company meeting
- Partnering with LinkedIn's social media manager to launch company's Instagram account
- Member of the Innovation Team: coordinate logistics and event execution for open hackdays
- Assist with inDays for three Bay Area offices
