At UNC, I was deeply involved with the Service Learning programming (the philanthropy class began my career!) & the Campus Y, the home for social justice work on campus. I worked off-campus in various nonprofits both during the year and with summer internships. I began working in housing and homelessness, moved to broader community development work at CEF, and eventually combined my sustainability coursework with my social justice to work in food justice.
