TechCold International

Software Developer (consultant)

A fast paced engineering team offering savings to the global refrigeration industry. I have worked with the parent company AMT in the past when writing custom interfacing software for their first HMI supervisory control system.

I developed a VB / C, 16 to 32 bit 'thunker' server solution. Much experimentation and effort was required to develop and test the custom integration solution. The client's control system's API was not documented and posed just one of the challenges we overcome. I developed a solution to manage initialization and communication to an array of 16 different controller models once the data was able to flow.

Currently I am developing a configuration editor for the TechCold automation product. The system deployment will be more automated by provisioning the system with the new configuration editor. Both ends of the system, the TCI Logic Server and the corresponding KepServer (data acquisition server), requires synchronized XML . A complex system and a good challenge.
