Conduct and oversee the registration of voters and hold elections in accordance with Federal, State and local laws. Determine and designate staff levels and schedule accordingly. Integrate and manage software systems for voting tabulation and voter registration. Provide expedite and prompt customer service to candidates and voters at all times and in a cost-effective and timely manner. Reach out to specific interest groups, particularly the students of Oregon State University a various political parties to ensure they receive the services unique to their organizations in regards to voting and campaigning. Collaborate and work in cohesion with public entities such as the US Postal Service, the Oregon Secretary of State, other county agencies, and civic organizations such as the League of Women Voters. Provide staff support in a friendly and constructive manner to allow all members of the office to feel participatory and productive in a creative and nurturing environment.

Oversee and implement the registration of voters and conduct elections in direct support of the elected County Clerk. Data entry and integration of multiple software systems to register voters in accordance with election laws. Provide efficient and friendly customer service on a limited budget. Guide and instruct candidates and filing districts as to election procedure and legal requirements. Assign and monitor temporary workers for election duty. Liasion between County Administration and represented workers during my tenure as both AFSCME Union President and Secretary.
