Manager

I was the fresh food manager initially and was responsible for sales, waste, promotional activity, stocktaking, stock forecasting and ordering. I was also responsible for the store as duty manager and would liaise with the night teams. I was fluent in trading law also.

I transferred to Gibraltar as admin manager in 2004, this was a unique opportunity and I learned a lot about importation regulations.

Children's wear Manager

On my appointment as children's wear manager I was training alongside another manager, it was in this role I learnt stock control, stock loss, merchandising and replenishment. I was also involved in the scheduling of staff rotas and trained in various aspects of team motivation, customer service staff training and duty management. Upon my return to the u.k I was based in the Salford store in Manchester as ladies wear manager, it was here I implemented all I had learned in Dublin. I would also fly from north west to Dublin on a regular basis to liaise with buyers and help them understand the difference in the marketplace between Ireland and mainland u.k.
