Trade Commission of Spain in Chicago

International Trade Advisor

Helping Spanish firms expand their horizons.

I am in the Dpt. of Infrastructures, which means I spend my days findind business opportunities for Spanish engineering and construction firms that want to start new projects in the US. I love checking the news and seeing Spanish companies winning tenders and developing projects that I have tracked.

I also work with the Automotive and Machinery Dpt. It's a new world to me but I find it extremely exciting. How does the Automotive Aftermarket Trade Show in Vegas sound to you? I think it'll be a great opportunity for me to learn directly from the industry!

Don't dream it, be it.

Master, International Management

This masters is part of a scholarship given by the Spanish Ministry of Economy.

The scholarship, in addition to the education, gives internships all around the world. I worked really hard (and ranked 7th out of 258 students) and got the chance to work in Chicago for a year.

Traveling around the world

"To travel is to live"

I couldn't agree more with Hans Christian Andersen. Traveling helps us grow. These are only some of the places I've explored so far.

In a week I discovered Jakarta, Yogjakarta (including the fabulous Borobudur temple) and Bali.

New Zealand

I went to the other side of the world (literally) and loved how green it was!

Could I love this country more? I wish the political situation would get better so that I could go back and enjoy some family time (and go to some caribbean beaches too!)

I visited in my last year of high school. We had a lot of fun celebrating graduation!

I have traveled all around France (mainly by car). Such a pretty country.

I've been to Lisbon quite a few times and I like it more every time!

-- Studied abroad at:
Loyola University Maryland (Baltimore, USA) 2010-2011 and
Université Catholique de Lyon (France) summer 2011.

Herbert Smith Freehills

Legal translator

Thanks to this internship I got to discover the world of law firms. I translated legal texts while learning from inside how they organize and work.

Intern at Communications Department

This internship gave me the opportunity to discover my interest in communications as an important part of businesses.
I was able to write the CSR report, and many articles for internal magazines. I also launched a new social network to interact within the company.

Rafael del Pino Alumni Foundation

The Rafael del Pino Alumni Foundation was my first internship. I was community manager, PR, event organizer... They gave the interns a lot of responsibilities, and I really appreciated that. I had the idea of creating a book club, and when it came to life I felt really happy.
