Case Manager in the Employment Program of BC

I work directly with clients in the Employment Program of BC providing one to one support to assist individuals to succeed in their employment goals. Support client's with disability, those who have multiple barriers to employment, and First Nations to obtain training and essentially employment or community attachment as an outcome. Address full participation as per Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation requirements and policies to support the success of clients. Provide Assessment Services such as Multi-dimensional Needs Assessments and Disability Related Employment Needs Assessments. Complete referrals to specialized assessments, Psychological Vocational Assessments, Neuropsychological Vocational Assessments, Learning disability Assessments and Functional Capacity Evaluations. Provide additional assessments as required to determine client needs, employment readiness, interests, skills and abilities. Determine financial needs and support services as required by Ministry Contract. Develop and revise client Action Plans. Monitor client progress and manage client file services. Provide employment support services, administer financial supports and support for training. Provide referral services to outside agencies as required. Complete one to one employability skills and life skills workshops. Provide resume, cover letter and job search support. Work with Third Party Administered Clients to liaise between them and the Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation to problem solve and administer their monthly supports.
