Designed passenger seating and galley concepts for Canadair, Sikorsky and British Aerospace aircraft. Created trade display for Canadair.
Created first launch hands-on exhibits for the new Science Discovery Museum, Acton, MA - architect: E. Verner Johnson. Designed Rowes Wharf exhibits for the Beacon Companies. Designed industrial tools and equipment for Gregory Fossella Associates (on staff and freelance). Designed trade exhibit for industrial design consultancy, Design Continuum.
Led the exhibition design team and installation supervision of aircraft, spacecraft and interactive displays for the new 16,000 square feet Aerospace Museum, Los Angeles, designed by Frank O. Gehry Architects.
Designed new commercial dinnerware line from concept through manufacturing, a $65 million corporate investment. Designed consumer products for new product initiatives.
Led industrial design and exhibition design consultancy. Secured Motorola's repeat business including high-tech exhibitions at The Epcot Center, Florida; Motorola Museum at Asian headquarters in Beijing, China; and branded retail concepts for Motorola Cellular Latin America initiatives. Designed products for Tag, Modulus and Orlando.
Generated new ideas for Fiat, Artemide and Ideal Standard; urban streetscape for the City of Cecina, Italy; and led product line development for Cibic’s “Standard” furniture line. Coordinated product photo shoots with noted photographer, Tom Vack. Independently, exhibited own designs at Salone del Mobile, Euroluce and with Isao Hosoe at the Milan Triennale.
Recruited to lead the design of $15 million technology exhibition for new 20,000 square foot Motorola Museum of Electronics, Schaumburg, IL. Designed microelectronics, telecommuncations and robotic interactive and interpretive displays.
Drive product design and development from benchtop through market launch for Washington State's 2011 greenest manufacturer. Overhaul brand to align with company promise.
Built robust product portfolio for design-leading Steelcase subsidiary which successfully carried the company through major corporate restructuring. Co-authored brand visioning documents and portfolio strategy, including acquisition targets, for the restructured entity.
Selected by community-government initiative to create the nation's first children's history museum in Boynton Beach, Florida. Met critical donor criteria for funding. Voted region’s “Best Children's Museum.” Nickelodeon award recipient. Museum nominated for the National Medal for Museum Service.
Recruited to lead industrial design team for start-up branch of Chicago-based industrial design consultancy. Delivered product concepts for regional businesses: ATP, Sunbeam, Levenger and Motorola.
