Assist patient with ADL'S.
Prepare medications for the week.
Administer food through J-Peg.
Prepare and maintain records of client a progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to the home health nurse.
Check vital signs and level of consciousness, perform daily assessment's and document any changes.
Administer medications through J-Peg.
Direct and assist client in range of motion exercises.
Care for individuals and or families during times of incapacitation, family disruption, or convalescence, providing companionship, personal care, or help in adjusting to new life styles.
Responsible for rooming patients, taking vital signs, and preparing the patient for the physician to examine.
Assist the physician in multiple procedures: Lumbar punctures, thoracentesis, paracentesis, lacerations, ingrown toenails, and incision and drainage.
Apply multiple types of bandages: 4 way compression dressings, unna boots, wound vacs, compression stockings, pressure bandages, and multiple types of dressings per the physician order.
Assist in patient coordination
Participated in multiple committees: Domestic violence task force, head of Work Place Safety committee, and partnered on the Labor Partner Management Team.
Proficient in taking vital signs, weights, EKG, and urinalysis. Administration of oral and injectable medications. Utilize medical terminology in written and spoken communication.
