Started as production worker, building office furniture, laminating tops, applying edging to surfaces.
Promoted to lead hand in 2001 and was responsible for a team of 5 people.
Promoted to Production Supervisor in 2002 and was responsible for a team of 30 people.
Duties included supervising employees, coaching and discipline, improving efficiencies in a LEAN environment, organizing large projects through the manufacturing plant using temporary labourers which included training them quickly to maintain our efficiencies and lead times to get the product out on time and on quality.
Moved into a Quality Assurance / Trainer Role in 2010 and developed training programs, lesson plans, processes to maintain consistent quality throughout the manufacturing process.
I attended Okanagan College during this time and received "Train the Trainer" Certification.
Moved into a Front Office Position in 2011 as a Customer Service Representative / Warranty Coordinator where I was responsible for entering orders, supplying quotes to the customers, handling all incoming warranty claims which included determining root causes, developing action plans for the plant to ensure every warranty claim was closed off to avoid any repetitive errors in the process.
