Lead Teacher - Math in Real Life project

The Math in Real Life project's objective is to expand the environment of innovation in math teaching and learning. Our focus is on applied mathematics, or the natural interconnectedness of math to other disciplines, and infusing relevance for students. The MiRL project's statewide network of math learning communities each focuses on different strategies for developing and testing applied problems in mathematics. The networks help math teachers refine innovative teaching strategies with the guidance of regional industry partners.

My Math in Real Life project team is coordinated locally through the Greater Oregon STEM Hub and funded statewide by Oregon DOE's STEM Innovation grant.
