The 'DOH' Initiative
January 2013 — Present
Founded in 2013 with a view of alleviating poverty and empowering women, the 'DOH' initiative is committed to helping less privileged children and teenage girls.
It is also a forum for young ladies to share experiences related to school, work and other life matters, learn from one another and continually improve themselves by taking up challenges and responsibilities in the society.
In 5 years, the 'DOH' initiative aims to produce women who are highly successful, yet sensitive to the needs of the people around them and are passionate about helping these people.
As the founder of this initiative, I:
> Developed strategic and effective techniques of organizing the initiative;
> Organized occasional visits to orphanages;
> Solicited for financial support to assist these orphanages;
> Organized empowerment programs for members of the initiative.
