Analyzed Teach For America admissions data using Salesforce.com CRM to shape recruiting strategies and increase applicant retention. Managed high-visibility publicity campaign to strengthen the Teach For America brand on campus, through networking with professors and administrators, planning large events, and conducting student organization presentations throughout the year. Advised prospective and selected applicants.
Learned the nuts-and-bolts of marketing and public relations, as well as gained insights into running a small business. 'Ghost wrote' for clients’ blogs, authored press releases and newsletters, and drafted articles for industry journals; responsibilities also included researching pertinent client information, including clients’ competitors and industry trends.
