Young Jewish Professionals

Event Coordinator

YJP (Young Jewish Professionals) is a non-profit organization that provides "business networking, mentoring sessions, and social opportunities to the new generation of Jewish business leaders." YJP has networks in countless industries including media & advertising, fashion, technology, finance, and real estate. My focus was on their group dedicated to CEOs and presidents of leading organizations.
During my time with YJP I managed the launch of their new digital mentoring platform- an online website that connects young professionals to accomplished CEOs in their industry. YJP members can submit questions which are then answered by the CEOs. My responsibilities lay in reaching out to new CEOs who would be interested in the organization and the website. I was responsible for promoting the use of the website and explaining how it would benefit each CEO.

Promotions Intern

WPLJ is a New York based radio station that plays hot adult contemporary music and is home of "Scott and Todd in the Morning." During my internship in their promotions department I had the opportunity to work at promotional events for some of WPLJs clients including Starbucks where I took the initiative and led the event to promote Starbucks' VIA instant coffee.
In addition to my responsibilities at events, I also handled front line interactions with valued listeners to the station.
In an effort to expand my horizons beyond the promotions department I asked for, and was granted, the opportunity to shadow the executive producer to The Race Taylor Show as he prepared for the day's show.
