The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society

Full-time Dietary Aide/Assistant

I worked as a highly qualified and appreciated Dietary Aide for The Good Samaritan Society (Fort Collins Village) in Fort Collins, Colorado for nearly a year. While employed there I enjoyed assisting the Village's residents by providing them with the highest quality, four-star dining experience possible. This daily opportunity in providing excellent customer satisfaction was not only rewarding, but bestowed in me a new sense of humility, and an even greater passion for my service to others. I learned to work in a way that would never fall short of the Society's core values; and, my daily work ethic always rang true to their mission statement: "In Christ's Love, Everyone Is Someone."

Wendy's

Crew Member

At Wendy's I worked as a Crew Member and held several different positions while employed there. I worked at the front of the store and ran the cash register when I was not working in the drive-thru widow or preparing fresh, made-to-order food. I was required to do routine cleaning and help with general maintenance of the store.

Amigo's/King's Classic

Crew Member

I have worked for this company two separate times over a course of four years. This was my first job as a kid and later I was re-employed after graduating high-school. I learned nearly every position to work in while employed with this company. I worked my way up the shift ladder by taking responsibility and showing leadership in the workplace. I worked as a cashier both in the front of the store and in the drive-thru. I also worked as a server and checked each order before running it to the customer's table. I was also required to complete daily cleaning tasks and routine store maintenance. Other job responsibilities included opening and closing the store regularly and over-seeing the activities of other crew members. I would count the registers at the end of each shift for myself and other crew members. Once a week I would drive to the bank and make the store deposit. Lastly, I was often required to train new crew members and employees.
