Being an estimator is about building the project on paper before it becomes a reality. It is important to understand what the client wants, and being able to provide accurate cost picture of what it will take to build it. Communication is key, as we are often collaborating with designers, and subcontractors, as well as assisting the internal operation teams.

A two year rotational program consisting of six rotations of four months each. Sequence of rotations was tailored to the company's needs, matched with our strengths, weaknesses, and development progress. I had the opportunity to be part of some very notable projects with some remarkable people, while developing the skills set necessary to thrive not only in the industry, but also in the corporate environment. A great way to be introduced into the construction industry, and an unbelievable experience.
Always fascinated by the built environment, I started my college career by pursuing an architecture degree. While still captivated by the aesthetics of structures, I felt engineering was a better suited path for me.
