Retail Merchandiser and Auditor | Grocery, Office Supplies, Electronics, Home Goods, Health/Wellness

Summer 2010 I went in a new direction. Retail merchandising gave me back my time. It allowed for the time and space to focus on my entrepreneurial endeavors while bringing in consistent income. To my surprise, I really enjoyed the work.

What do I do as a retail merchandiser? I perform an array of activities that ensure the integrity and quality of a company's products and services, increase sales and enhance the customer experience. I'm employed with Acosta Sales & Marketing and I work as an independent contractor with SPAR Business Services.

Field work includes: on-site business inspections; 1-9 verification; category resets; store remodel and relocation projects; planogram (POG) maintenance; audits; display setup and maintenance; POP/POS and signage placement; and continuity coverage.
