Mortuary Affairs Liaison

Performed duties relating to deceased personnel in the Combined Joint Theater of Operations to include receiving fallen heroes from the flight line, established tentative identification, and generated case files for permanent record.
Prepared decedent for shipment to Dover Port Mortuary, where determinations for final disposition were made and the family received the fallen hero.
Uploaded permanent case files into the Human Resources Command, Mortuary Affairs Recording and Tracking System (MARTS).
Received, processed and shipped personal effects (personal belongings) of fallen heroes and combat-related medically evacuated personnel.
Conducted Joint inventories with Summary Court Martial Officers to ensure and evacuate personal effects of deceased personnel.
