Job Service Specialist

I am a teacher, a gentle cheerleader, a problem solver, a marketer and a résumé writer. I am a Job Service Specialist who gets to work with people every day, helping them to find jobs and ultimately, independence and dignity. I also help employers find qualified workers as we all journey into the next phase of the labor market--driven by ever changing technology.

BA, Dance

Declaring a dance major wasn’t just something I wanted to do, dance was something I HAD to do. I needed to be able to communicate--to relate and to share thoughts and emotions through movement. I also learned to funnel my need to connect on the human level into classes in sociology, music, interpersonal communication, and writing.

One big thing I learned during those years was NEVER to underestimate your value to someone else. You may never know how you touch others you come in contact with throughout your lifetime or what sort of ripple effect it may cause. You need to make the most of your interactions with others. ...and when at all possible, be kind.
