Point person for all communication between guests, dining room staff and the ranch office. Job summary:
· Hospitality: Welcomed all guests upon arrival to the lodge dining room, informed them of all weekly specials, took special food/meal requests, received/resolved any complaints, and communicated daily with guests to ensure their dining room experience was enjoyable.
· Communication: Direct link between guests, the office/billing, kitchen staff, waitresses, and cleaners. Also included taking daily meal counts, making table assignments, then tracking and relaying all information to the office for billing purposes.
· Management: Trained and supervised the assistant hostess and all other dining room staff to ensure the highest quality service. Organized dining room work schedules; lead daily staff meetings to address any problems and encourage staff.
· Other: Producer/manager of weekly guest entertainment, the “Western Party,” and also helped lead music/singing in worship every Sunday.
