• Work closely with the Director of the Center for Career Engagement, Assistant Director for Career Development and Social Media, Assistant Director for Employer Relations & Graduate Recruiting and Assistant Vice President of Career and Professional Development to identify trends and needs of Furman undergraduate and graduate students.
• Hire, train and supervise three Career Ambassadors to support students and alumni during on-campus recruiting events and drop-ins
• Responsible for creating a Career Guide, which includes customized resumes for a wide variety of majors, resume, cover letter and professional communication examples, interview preparation and effective job search strategies
• Increase awareness about career-related resources and services by integrating career planning into the campus culture, which includes presenting career-related information during workshops and classroom presentations during both the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 semesters
• Help the Director of the Center for Career Engagement compile the First Destination Survey, aggregate student data and incorporate outcomes into the Annual Report
• Implement Symplicity Career Counseling Module to track student appointments, workshops, classroom presentations and program attendance
• Help coordinate logistics for events and programs
