from Indiewire / “an innovative cultural festival featuring films, salon-style dinners, and inspirational talks, running July 13–16, 2017 in Charlottetown...The new fest’s unique format “will give attendees the opportunity to see the latest thought-provoking works and take them well beyond the screen to stimulate deeper discussion and create broader awareness.”

The Deep Sky / feature film

co-producer and costume designer

An independent feature film by 2nd time director (and cinematographer) Frazer Bradshaw about the choices we make and how we transform each other through those choices. A story about a love triangle where the central character is in fact the relationship itself. The Deep Sky is about physical, emotional and romantic desire and how we ultimately find and construct meaning in life... It’s my first time both costume designing and co-producing a feature. Mostly shot in the Bay Area, we use local talent/companies JAKE, Eugenia lingerie, Kit and Ace and my own cari borja/clothesmaker for wardrobe; Deb Durant, Nancy Dobbs Owen for jewelry, Raj Parr’s Sandhi Chardonnay for wine; A16 Rockridge, Plum Bar, Starline Social Club, Revival Berkeley and Red Door Cafe as some of our locations... With German actress Luise Helm and local actors Sarah Rose Butler and Kelechi Nwadibia as our leads.
