Led the implementation of a large transformation process to turn company from a technology focused telco operator into a consumer centric, innovative Value Added Services company operating in multiple product categories like mobile financial services, mobile entertainment, corporate solutions and mobile internet/data.

Had a focus on attracting & developing executives and key specialists and to become an employer of choice in each of the markets in which we operated.

Millicom is part of the Kinnevik group of companies. The company is today listed in Stockhom and used to be listed as MICC at the Nasdaq in New York during my time.

During my tenure Millicom operated in emerging countries within Central/South America, Sub Sahara Africa and SE Asia as a low price provider of mobile telecom, broadband, cable TV and fibre optics services.
