The B'more Co-Lab
December 2015 — Present
Think of our city as a human body for a moment: a vast landscape of smaller units working together to benefit the whole. How can we improve quality of life in our city – the body we are all a part of? How do we cultivate a culture in which everyone wins?
A Collaboration Lab opens lines of communication and facilitates collaboration between people, organizations, and institutions so they can better serve the whole: our city.
A Collaboration Lab is a space, physical and/or virtual, that allows for the experimentation and evaluation of ways to connect, unify, and practice collective action. It does not imply consensus building on every topic or issue, but rather creates a trusted environment for risk-taking, growth, and relationship building.
The B'more Co-Lab (Baltimore Collaboration Lab) is building lanes of connectivity between people, organizations, and institutions in Baltimore, thereby creating a network of support for referrals, asset sharing, best practices, funding/fundraising, and advocacy.
