I undertook Compostable Media as my second start-up experience because I believe that marketing can serve as the foundation of environmental improvement. Compostable Media allows companies to offset their carbon footprint with marketing; by providing key partnerships that create win-win situations between universities, brands, and the environment. While managing a team of five I helped to build a fully integrated service, that was later transformed into a marketing management platform.

• Authored strategic product plan for media management platform.
• Specified market requirements helping developer, plan schema, design for scalability, tune/optimize.
• Implemented a company wide Go-To-Market plan managing a cross-functional team of five to execute.
• Optimized and reduced the company’s sales life cycles by 50% via Direct Sales and CRM tools.
• Managed growth of 100+ partners, both in private and public sectors (UC Santa Cruz, StudentUniverse..) leveraging partner and internal ecosystems.

"A mobile development lab focused on local music discovery and event management".

I started Drip inc. while still in grad school, with four of my fellow classmates. We wanted to bring cutting edge mobile technology to the local music scene in Quebec City; envisioning mobile solutions to the challenges music promoters faced, during a time when there was no real way to engage an audience past the traditional “Attending” Facebook event button.

I worked on conceiving prototypes of web apps (as wells as native mobile iOS apps) designed to promote local music discovery and event management.

• Originated new models for local music promoters to engage their audiences.
• Developed product marketing strategy, shaped features to foster dynamic user interaction.
• Analyzed competitive landscape and potential partner relationships for product.
• Conducted market research supported by on-going visits to customers and prospects.

• Conceived, prototyped, developed, and debugged iOS app (name: “Adstube”).
• Self-taught programmer, Cocoa Touch in Objective-C (Xcode environment).
• Implemented advanced user interfaces and custom UI controls (in Xcode and Interface Builder).
• Planned and executed a successful PR campaign (obtained coverage on Gizmodo, Engadget...).
