My job at the Fairmont Hotel was to make sure I had the proper equipment to give guest a clean and wonderful stay! While working there I provided guest with a thoroughly cleaned room, making sure I paid great attention to detail. My duties included:
-Cleaning occupied rooms according to the guests preferences. (Providing clean linen, extra towels, soaps and shampoos, vacuuming, etc.) Also, making sure that my cart was well stocked to successfully complete my work day.
-Reporting any broken fixtures or equipment in the rooms as well throughout the hotel.
- Greeting guest with a friendly smile and meeting their needs.
-Reported any items that needed to be restocked during, and after my shift.
- I always took it upon myself to be very knowledgeable about any upcoming events or good deals at any nearby restaurants or shops.
-I’ve always been a team player and ask my fellow coworkers/management if there is anyway to be helpful once my work was finished.
- Report to my managers if there was anything I had a problem with.
