Noah's Arf Doggie Daycare
July 2015 — Present
I started at the Arf to assist in the busy summer months as a daycare attendant, cleaning, watching the dogs, bathing, nail trims, blow drying, brushing etc.. Enjoying it so much, when I was provided the opportunity to become a shift manager not even my student load could stop me. Shift Managers ensure employees are completing the multiple specific daily task, and communicating important information as needed to the team. Ensuring each dog's package is up to date, customer service is a must. Answering phones, returning calls, checking messages, and communicating with corresponding veterinarian's is constant. Shift Managers also give tours to customers who are curious about the facility, and answer any questions.
My time here has been short, but this position will carry me through my college graduation. The thoroughness the shift manager position has granted me will follow me to other positions later in my career. My love for animals and ease around them is an added bonus!
