Maintain up to four Physical Therapists daily schedules while keeping each schedule tailored to their specific needs.
Set appointments for patients around their personal schedules.
Answer multiple phone lines and retrieve messages.
Greet patients at the front desk.
Create new patient files as well as new patient charts.
Verifying all types of insurances prior to the patients first appointment and making sure that they understand their benefits as well as responsibility.
Collect copays as well as setting up payment options.
Sort incoming as well as outgoing mail.
Handling weekly cash deposits made to the Business Office.
Working directly with our Business Office to properly handle patient billing and insurance claims.
Ordering all office and facility supplies and organizing inventory.
Handling all Purchase Orders for deliveries made to our facility.
Filing and faxing confidential patient information.
Daily communication with the Business Office as well as other facilities through Instant Message and Email.
Run daily/weekly reports for the Physical Therapists.
Run End of Day reports to pull and plug information into an Excel spreadsheet for monthly statistics.
Maintain relationships with referring physicians and Workers Compensation Boards.
Attend monthly staff meetings while taking notes and keeping minutes to type and add to the Medicare Manual.
Make sure that we are following all Medicare and HIPAA guidelines.
Organizing and maintaining the Medicare Manual.
Organize and Maintain front office and patient files.
Assist with as well as organize marketing projects to benefit the company and the community.
Manage and plan patient appreciation days for the facility.
Maintain sanitation throughout entire facility.
