At Regions the Financial Services Specialist is viewed internally as the subject matter expert in the areas of branch sales and services. As the service specialist, I meet with customers and prospects to determine their banking and financial needs, and meet those needs by proactively matching and and selling or cross-selling appopriate products and services. In my position, I am required to meet individual and branch sales goals. Customer service skills play a big role in my current position, I am required to meet and exceed Gallup individual scores based on my customer service skills. In addition to customer service skills, communication skills play a big role in effectively performing my job and understanding my customer's needs. I have extensive knowledge of deposit account products, a solid foundation in consumer loans, credit education and guidance, and resolving customer issues. I have succesully completed numerous training programs in relation to my position ranging from customer needs based conversations to bank operations and compliance. Currently, in addition to my responsibilities of a financial service specialist, I conduct a monthly branch review report to audit all sections of the bank and I am a branch key holder. I am registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and in the process of obtaining my State of Alabama Life Insurance license.
