Represented several construction firms to resolve related disputes with the prime contractor. Developed Standard Terms & Conditions to address the root cause and prevent further disputes.
Implemented MRP System, Strategic Sourcing Agreements and Inventory management plan to reduce cost, improve thru-put and increase asset utilization for paper products manufacturer.
Created “Value Contribution” calculation that considers the cost of acquisition, cost of ownership and cost of use to determine the “net effect” of a procurement decision. This measurement also replaced Purchase Price Variance (PPV) as the “yardstick” for procurement performance. Result: Approach reduced set-up time 28%, improved cycle time 7% and reduced inventory costs 20%
