Managed and increased used car sales. Trained employees on sales process. Managed and marketed used car inventory on a daily basis. Managed wholesale profit. Purchased inventory from various auctions and dealers to keep inventory at an ideal level based on sales volume, core product and a 60 day inventory age turn. During my tenure with Group 1 Automotive I started as a salesperson and quickly moved into sales management within a two year period. I remained a used car sales manager for another 10 years by maintaining and growing a successful department. I was next promoted to General Sales Manager and within the next year I was promoted to General Manager and maintained that position for nearly three years until accepting a transfer to Houston to become used car manager to fix a broken department. Within three months we started to average a 30 percent increase in YOY sales.
