My job at McKesson started as a data entry payment poster. this job requires entering in patient account numbers and paying the claims received from insurance companies and patients themselves. I also learned how to post collection batches that come in to our system. I learned how two do the accounts receivable position which was getting claims billed to the insurance companies and doing follow up to make sure the claims got paid correctly. I have been a patient services rep which includes answering the phone for patients with question and do my best to get the answer and or bill the proper insurance. I am currently a data entry payment poster.
