Facilitated 3 trainings of over 65 total trainers on violence and proper discipline techniques in order to create a network of response to and prevention of violence in schools.
Participated in the training design and evaluation for the June 2012 Pre-Service Training of new volunteers in the education sector, which included creating a manual, lesson planning and developing monitoring and evaluation techniques.
Organized a 2 week camp for 120 7th and 8th graders focused on living a healthy lifestyle, youth empowerment and leadership skills.
Tutored over 40 students in 3rd through 6th grades in French reading, writing and mathematics for 4 hours a week formally and for over 6 hours a week informally.
Led 3 English as a Second Language clubs for students in 7th (introductory English) through 12th (advanced conversational English) grades. Class sizes ranged from 5 to over 140 students.
Led a Girls’ Club in French for girls in grades 7 through 12, discussing a broad range of topics from sexual health to proper studying methods.
Wrote lesson plans and created a manual for a Youth Development Conference on professional and leadership skills.
Facilitated teacher trainings on proper lesson planning techniques and discipline methods.
Supervised children’s use of recreational games.
Tutored students ages 5 to 13 in reading, writing and mathematics.
Created and facilitated educational individual and team activities.
Tutored first grade students in reading, writing and mathematics.
Taught basic piano and music theory to elementary school children and adults in French and English.
Created religious educational activities for children’s and youth’s Sunday school.
