Book a wide variety of national/international newsmakers, experts, and guests with a team of booking producers for live news programs daily; pitch story ideas, conduct pre-interviews and gather elements for segments;manage logistics of guest appearances.

Able to pull-in high profile celebrities/newsmakers including booking:
•Cher’s appearance on MSNBC to discuss her activism re: the Flint Water Crisis
•Aretha Franklin, “Queen of Soul”, within two hours of confirming Prince’s death

Manage the bookings of several network projects/franchises including:
•a quarterly sponsored “Born in the USA” series about American businesses
•a 2016 weeklong MSNBC “7 Days of Genius” series in partnership with the 92Y
•MSNBC’s dayside program coverage of Global Poverty Project’s 2014/2016 Global Citizen Festival

During summer of 2013, served for six months as the interim planning producer for “NOW with Alex Wagner” and trained incoming Planning Producer which included coordinating guest appearance schedules, guest travel including flights/trains, car orders, and hotel accommodations and maintaining a long-term planning calendar for show coverage. Awarded twice with the “Going the Extra Mile” award for work completed during assignment.
