•Performed O&M on T-Mobile wireless network nodes including Nortel DMS, Alcatel-Lucent 5ESS/7705, Nokia-Siemens OSS, Ericsson AXE, Cisco, Fujitsu platforms. One of a select group of technicians versed in all technologies within the T-Mobile network. Encompassed copper, fiber, data Ethernet, AAV, VoIP, GSM/GPRS/UMTS, SS7, router port configuration.
•Mentored new incoming personnel in alarm management and access node trouble-shooting through multiple technologies.
•Received multiple T-Mobile STAR recognitions for outstanding achievements. Consistently placed in top 10% of team for trouble resolution metrics and lowest average alarm-to-ticket times.
•Spearheaded effort to create baseline standard operating procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Authored several documents and provided peer training. Led to 15% decrease in outage time and trouble resolution.
•Engaged with vendors, field operations, Tier 2, engineering, data IP on hardware/software upgrades and network outages. Contributed to largest increase in network reliability year-over-year, moving into 3rd place over Sprint for the first time.
•Expanded customer base by 2 million new adds in record time due to network improvements implemented by team.
•Participated in migration of customer from MetroPCS CDMA network to T-Mobile LTE network. 92% completion in 16 months.
•Upgraded network coverage and speeds as a crucial component and focal point of the most aggressive wireless network build-out in industry history. Over 280 million POPs added in 2 years. Currently the fastest 4G LTE network in the U.S. On track to reach 300 million POPs by end of 2015.
•Selected by management for Tier 2 support of Alcatel WSS technology and SS7 network infrastructure including STP and HLR.
•Recommend to management by Director of Operations to participate in newly developed Network Optimization team.
