This position started as a assistant to help re-build a failing business with one other salesman and delivery driver. Duties included opening AR accounts, AP accounts, building an inventory and accounting program, building customer accounts, purchasing all inventory supplies, as well as warehouse and office supplies, worked with clients in regards to product and equipment training, worked with school and hospitals in regards to compliancy and budgets, and state and local bidding. Throughout the first five years, our company was sold to another distributor, West Coast Paper Company, and was kept on at that point as the branch manager and senior sales representative. December 2001, this company was sold again to yet another distributor, Northern Sales Company, and was retained by that company as industrial sales manager.
