lynda.com

Enterprise Marketing Specialist

• I handed off the reigns at Eos with sound process and automation in place so that I could join the lynda.com team (recently acquired by LinkedIn) where I developed syndicated content for demand generation and lead nurturing efforts using Marketo and Salesforce.com for e-mail campaigns, newsletters, tradeshows, webinars, product presentations, and web content. I supported global sales teams with multiple marketing projects, testing strategies and analyzed metrics and ROI for all efforts. My supported sales teams in higher education and K-12 met revenue goals every quarter.

Simultaneously, I also began the MBA program at Pepperdine University and eventually received an offer for a Fellowship from the American Association of University Women, who required me to only work 20 hours a week while finishing school and maintaining Fellowship duties like volunteer work and public speaking for the organization.

Eos Santa Barbara

Marketing and Sales Manager

• Next, a friend who wanted to expand a business recruited me because he knew I knew how to automate processes using tech tools and generate demand. I helped to create Eos Santa Barbara and whipped it into shape by strategizing, developing, analyzing, and managing demand generation campaigns using Ontraport’s CRM platform for lead generation and nurturing campaigns using: email, direct mail, social media, blogs, SEO, video production, landing pages, blogs, and print advertising. I used an umbrella brand strategy to take the company from start-up to having the #1 market share position in its market space.

Santa Barbara International Film Festival

Special Events Coordinator

• Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, I was a freshly minted graduate from UCSB with a Bachelor’s degree and stars in her eyes. I happened to take a class my senior year that changed my life and discovered my love for organizing, marketing, and technology. Through that class, I met a few people who worked at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Eventually, I got a job there too and applied my technology skills using spreadsheets and CRM tools to organize communication and schedules with thousands of volunteers, donors and attendees. While there, Brad Pitt spoke to me and touched my arm (no big deal) while Angelina Jolie gave me a solid death stare. After that experience, I wondered if there really was more to life after Brad and Angie??
