My time at Brewster Bye Architects has aided my professional development both on-site and in the office. Duties for me here include site surveying and measurement, production of drawings from feasibility stage through to as-built, project planning & management and contract management predominantly through traditional contracts. Since being with Brewster Bye Architects i have developed my portfolio, working on medium to large sized refurbishments and new build schemes. In 2013 one of my projects; Hanover Point, Stockton was shortlisted for The Architects Journal Retrofit Awards.

Michael Dyson Associates Ltd.

Trainee Architectural Technologist

I spent 16 months working at Michael Dyson Associates as part of my year out placement from my sandwich degree. During my time there i worked on numerous schemes ranging from the over cladding of non-traditional Cornish houses to the redevelopment of a large tower block in Middlesborough. The experience broadened my knowledge of being an Architectural Technologist and my understanding of working with contractors and clients.
