Coordinating the development and implementing of the organization’s patient and community outreach programs.• Leading/coordinating planning, development, and implementation of PFNCA patient services. Writing Annual Program Plan and develop the budget for implementation of plan.•Developing and maintaining relationships with collaborative agencies, including support group sites, hospitals, care facilities, senior centers, physician’s offices, local government/health and human services agencies, etc.• Coordinating publicity to local media, i.e. Washington Post Health Section – to insure listing of Community Support Group and other key patient, support group and educational meetings in Community Calendars. • Coordinating annual patient symposium.Also applied for grants for the programs and symposiums. Besides event planning, I also worked as IT support during the symposiums and other program events. I maintain the network server and workstations at the office. • Produced and edited Faces of Parkinson’s Documentary. Maintaining the organization’s website (made with Drupal) on a daily basis as well as information updates and dealt with technical issues. • Working in the planning and development stages of the PFNCA fundraiser walk (Moving Day) and we have about 2,000 participants. Maintaining speaker database, find speakers for the monthly lecture series. • I represented PFNCA at various health fairs and gave presentations to local companies about the organization and services.
