Public Primary School Guest English Teacher (GET)

Affiliated with the Korean Ministry of Education and operated by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED)
The EPIK program aims to improve English language skills of Korean students and teachers and foster cultural exchange

• Co-taught third through sixth grade students with Korean co-teachers
• Independently taught and created curriculum for an after-school English class with students of varying skill levels
• Compiled engaging and effective teaching material to create a week long English camp workbook and coordinated with a local teacher to plan camp curriculum
• Fostered friendships with locals to develop a better understanding of Korean culture, share American culture, and integrate into my community
