• Own the product strategy for the “Virtual Core for Mobile” (VCM) Product Line. Responsibilities span market analysis to identify gaps/needs, identify target segments, influence the product portfolio, assess the competitive landscape, define winning strategies, develop Brocade’s value proposition, product pricing, and build a business case for growing the product line.
• Managing critical accounts, collaborating with customers/ CTO/ Sales/ Support (Technical Assistance Center for post-sales support and Professional Services) and Engineering to identify and support the target use cases. As a Product Owner, define and rank/prioritize requirements for those use cases on a release by release basis. Develop the market positioning and messaging by developing the required collaterals, and serve as a subject matter expert to represent Brocade externally in front of customers and partners. Enable Brocade’s traditional channel partners (Dell, HP, EMC …) to sell VCM, and identify/build key geographical channel partners to penetrate specific geos. Manage critical PoCs/trials with major accounts.
• Develop a Brocade marketing pitch for the Mobile World Congress encompassing Brocade’s product portfolio.
• Work with external technology partners to develop differentiated end to end virtualized solutions for MNO, MVNO/MVNE, and IoT verticals, in which Brocade’s virtual Evolved Packet Core plays a pivotal role.
