Oomea Critic

I am a featured Oomea Critic on Oomea.com. I write restaurant reviews for companies and businesses who can accommodate severe food allergies. All restaurants and reviews are based in San Francisco, CA.

Ashley Nicolei is a self healing foodie with food allergies. She truly believes what we put in our bellies is what is reflected in our face, our energy, our intellect, our charisma. This theory is applied to Ashley's daily lifestyle, whether she is preparing food at home or dining out. A Los Gatos (south bay) native, Ashley enjoys travel and has lived in a few cities - Los Angeles, Austin, and San Francisco. With a background in merchandising, Ashley has always enjoyed the creative arts. She explored her writing talent first at the tender age of 6, where she won first place at the Young Authors Fair Award. Currently, she is focused in developing her health and wellness blog designed to assist people in the 20-35 year age demographic who suffer from severe food allergies and sensitivities. Her goal is to create more awareness while empowering individuals to connect to both their own path to healing and to find support in their local communities.

Blogger, Taster, Writer

I write and manage my own blog focused on people living with severe food allergies and sensitivities. I write reviews on products, restaurants, hotels, services, companies, and businesses who directly cater to this niche or can accommodate.

Newly inspired to create a wave in the business world - better business from a Human Resources and Business Owner perspective. With food allergies on the rise and becoming America's next epidemic, it is important to train and certify staff in how to recognize an allergic reaction and in anaphylaxis emergency response. It is important not only in the food and restaurant business, but in corporate businesses as well to have a few managers, supervisors, or staff on hand, certified and trained in EPI-Pen administration. Your education is empowerment and could save a life - an employee's or a customer's.

I also write as a freelancer for various companies whose movement , product, or message inspires me.

HauteLook

Senior Rep of VIP Clientelling and Consulting, Brand Liason

At HauteLook.com I worked as a Liason and wore multiple hats for a fashion flash sales giant based in Los Angeles, CA.

I was responsible for communicating, resolving, and maintaining the VIP clientele base with the Member Care Department. I was also the go between for the Brand Department, IT Department, and Member Care Department. I communicated issues and experiences from the front end of the platform to the back end of the platform, and from the back end of the platform to the front end of the platform in a way that was clear and concise to the inquiring parties. Once the issue was identified I led ways to resolve it. And then assisted in implementing it (take action).

I worked in troubleshooting and logistics with the Warehouse, UPS, Member Care, Accounting, IT, & Operations. Together we resolved a large Pick Ticket Issue.

The experience I gained from this profession was once in a lifetime for the age I was at. It allowed me to see first hand how a startup can transform very fast once it gains momentum and the flexibility, determination, and strong character it takes to make it a success.

I value this work experience and hold it dear to my heart.
