Staff Assistant & Group Leader

Harvard University Faculty of Arts and Sciences

Boston, MA

"I believe that the only courage anybody ever needs is the courage to follow your own dreams." --Oprah Winfrey. Dreamer. Doer. Working to make a difference.

Harvard University Alumni Affairs & Development

Staff Assistant and Group Leader

I support fundraisers who meet with alumni who want to give to Harvard. I'm passionate about supporting and enabling people to be their best selves, which I'm able to help other assistants do as their group leader, and which I do for our office community via the Alumni Affairs & Development office's efforts to become more diverse via the Diversity & Inclusion Work Group.

Boston Partners in Education

Power Lunch Manager

Working with Boston Partners was a great opportunity for taking a deep dive into my passion for helping people to make a difference, big or small. I really got to tap into my creative side here through our social media committee and creation of marketing materials for students and their volunteers.

City Year Boston

Corps Member

If 10 months doesn't seem like enough time to create a transformational life experience, you don't know the impact of City Year. Working with a classroom of 8th graders in an under-resourced school was one of the most challenging things I've ever done, but without a doubt it was well worth it. Acclimating to the culture of CYB taught me so much, and I'm so grateful for it.

Wheelock College

Bachelor of Arts, Visual Arts

I majored in art to do something I love, and used ample opportunities for elective classes, work study jobs and extracurriculars to really shape my college experiences. Minors in psychology + women's studies helped form my worldview, and service learning trips to rebuild in New Orleans opened my eyes to my own drive to help others.
