Rivers Club

Social Media Coordinator | Accounting/HR Assistant

Administrative Support Team Associate

Part of the team that handles all administrative functions important for the store's day-to-day operation. This includes Human Resource responsibilities, scheduling responsibilities, Cash Office responsibilities, and other operational administrative functions, such as:
- Facilitate the interview process, including execution of all new-hire paperwork, and data input of new hires into HR systems, as well as lead computer-based training and orientation of new hires
- Assist the Human Resources Manager as an HR liaison for store associates and executives, as well as handling associate concerns and store portal questions

- Balance the vault and perform other cash functions on a daily basis; perform monthly cash office self-audit

- Organization of the store's Executive Office, and other administrative duties that the store depends on to operate day-to-day
- Schedule On-Call associates, and coordinate weekend schedule compliance in partnership with Store Management Team when necessary

- For the summer of 2011, I was a merit badge counselor for the badges of Communications and Public Speaking. Over the span of 7 weeks, I taught over 300 Scouts. While working at camp, I also participated in camp-wide program activities and service assignments.
- For the summer of 2012, I directed the Aquatics area. I managed a staff ranging from ten to sixteen people. I also oversaw the largest program area, with all twelve swimming and boating merit badges/certifications, while also teaching. I assisted in camp-wide program activities. I led service assignments and acted as a role model and leader for the camp staff.

For my entire collegiate career, I worked as the only student clerk with 2-4 adult workers and under one manager. I conducted frequent inventory of our products and re-stocked our floor displays as necessary. I was responsible for assisting customers in finding items and making purchases. I assisted in decorating the store, as well as dressing mannequins and creating visual displays. I also did small administrative tasks like photocopying documents for filing, making on and off campus deliveries, and helped with other tasks as needed.
