Entrepreneurs have taken notice that we’re all about swiping right. Millions of people are using Tinder app on a daily basis and there are around 1.2 million matches per day, on average. It makes sense that a swipe-and-match model could be used in the job hunt process. If you’re looking for a job and you’ve created a great resume, employers will be able to browse through all your information in one easy-to-search space. You’ll also have the ability to tell your story in much more detail than is possible with just your basic resume (videos! photos!) with the ability to include humorous one-liners! Here are three of the latest Tinder-like finding jobs app and how to make the maximum use of them:

Switch

Currently on the Switch app, you can browse through some of the best jobs from companies like Accenture, eBay and Walmart. When a match is made, the candidate can start chatting instantly with the hiring manager. Switch has an incognito mode too, so users can browse other jobs without their profile popping up. Similar to how you can see who’s viewed your LinkedIn profile! Switch reports that one out of 10 job seekers swipe right on an employer and one out of three employers swipe right on a candidate on the find a job app.

For first-time users, the most important tip would be to create a complete profile. Switch’s CEO, Yarden Tadmor, has some great advice for you. Make an impressive first impression and make it count with your cover letter. Employers will only see this after swiping to apply for positions, so you’ll want it to be perfect. The algorithm will take a look at the skills, industry and job function you’re searching for, so make sure to make those areas of your profile stand out..

And Switch’s great for employers, too. Your qualifications depend on the job you’re going for. Be specific about your location, experience requirements and salary. Use the organization description text field to provide your company basics, tuning it with the voice and tone of your organization.

Jobr

Job search apps like Jobr, a mobile application that was released last year, consolidates listings from various job boards and postings from recruiters to make finding a position fast and easy. It finds positions at companies like Google, Facebook, etc. You can create a job ad by uploading a company logo, company and job descriptions, as well as 10 skills. Candidates can choose to either upload a resume or fill out an online profile. Uploading a resume offers the best chance of getting matched with your desired position, along of course, swiping right says co-founder TJ Nahigian. Based on user feedback, 80% of people who uploaded a resume and swiped right up to 10 times got an interview offer within a week.

If you’re worried that your current employer might see your profile, don’t worry: Jobr will make sure to hide your profile from them. As long as that company is listed in either your resume or profile. In addition, most employers only see a candidate after they express interest, Nahigian pointed out

JobSnap

JobSnap is launching this month and will be geared towards Generation Z to meet their needs in jobs in hotels, retail stores, & restaurants. Founder Jeff Boodie created the app to solve a problem where young candidates have little to no experience listed on their resume. “These are candidates who don’t have the experience but can bring the personality you need,” he said

The app has a unique swipe-to-discover function that isn’t seen in other apps in this category: Job seekers and employers can now upload 30-second videos to show off their personality and skills, replacing the need for a profile pic or resume. “We’re the new Tinder,” Boodie said.

Because video lengths are finite, you need to be creative to get noticed. When you apply for jobs, try to find a way to include your career aspirations and talk about what makes you different from the competition. “What’s your dream?” Boodie said. “Employers are aware that this is an entry-level job, but they want someone who’s passionate,” he added. “They recognize where you are now isn’t where you’re going to end up.”
