Implementation of an Operation Risk Frame as per guidance from IOR and IRM

Producing and amending process and procedure documents

Develop a detailed understanding of the operations, processes, risks and controls of the assigned business unit

Identify significant business changes and where appropriate direct and / or coordinate preparation of required analysis to review changes, ensure proper mitigating controls, and approval for changes

Perform periodic focused process/control reviews to ensure risks are correctly identified and managed. Implement control changes, as needed

Escalate issues to Management as they arise and ensure appropriate reporting and follow up on open issues

Work with Global Operations Control Office and Operational Groups to ensure that consistent management information is in place and reported with appropriate elevation of issues to management

Monitor key risk & performance indicators. Identify risk issues and ensure resolution. Propose/challenge indicators, as appropriate. Verify data collection and reporting where appropriate.

Analyse errors, near misses and significant events to identify root causes. Ensure the development and implementation of appropriate controls.

Monitor Internal Audit/Regulatory findings and Gaps and for timely resolution by the Business Unit.

Manage and coordinate other related internal control functions as required by the business unit.

Prepare and deliver training on control and risk based activities as required.

Assist the Head of Compliance and Legal Advisor to support the overall risk management

Ensuring internal policies and procedures are current, consistent and fit for purpose

Provide quality assurance to senior management through regular monthly reporting

Monitor transactions in line with AML regulations and sanction screening

Complete special projects as required
